General Club Info
- Welcome new guest Jay!
- Membership dues are due. $30/individual, $40/couple. See Scott S to arrange payment
- Members get a cool T-shirt or tank-top
- Members also get to participate in NCHF camping trip
- A new order for work shirts will be happening in the coming months. Stay tuned for details
Competition Update
- 10 club entries for NHC to date
- Contact Scott S to coordinate on next drop-off
- Stein’s Homebrew Comp is coming up. Drop-off March 24-29th
- Any style accepted, one entry per person, max 50 entries
- Only two bottles, no fees
Bus Trip
- Planning underway for a chartered bus trip to 3-4 local breweries
- East Bay likely destination
- May or June

Style of the Month: Rye Beer
- Scott A presented his Rye Amber

- Brew session went flawlessly 😉
- 15% rye in malt bill
- Admiral Victor malt

- 20% rye in malt bill
- Dry-hopped with Mosaic Cryo hops
- Pro Tips:
- Rye is a huskless grain – consider rice hulls if you’re worried about a stuck mash
- Rye may not crush well when milled with rest of the barley. Consider crushing separately (perhaps twice) to extract full rye flavor then mix well back into grist
