We talked about a MoreBeer brew-in during their sale. July maybe hard because of many vacations and NHC<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NHC beers were all good and passed the NoCrapOnTap test. Beer City was a good trial run<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NCHF planning will get into full swing after NHC. But we plan a very simple tent setup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For \u201cwhat you have learned\u201d, Tony shared his Tilt story with his NHC beer having strange readings and FG 7pts too high. It turned out the Krausen buildup on the top of the Tilt of set the sensor so much that the FG was on target. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The style of the month was lawnmower beers. Any easy drinking light alcohol lager or ale. We had an additional blind taste of 4 beers. They were Gaffel Kolsch, Modelo, Harp lager, and a Ukrainian beer. For the most part people liked the Gaffel best, some the Modelo surprisingly.
