Will be given to you at the next meeting (June)
Roll the dice to determine how much of the Kilned Caramel 35 you have to use
Can do more but can’t do less, sets a floor
If you want to do more you’ll need to buy more

Good choice to brew with caramel malt
Also a CA common is a good choice
1.050 OG, 1.010 FG generally
Moderate bitterness
Copper color
About 5%
Saaz, Styrian Goldings, continental noble hops
Water profile – Hetch Hetchy, Jon K added vitamin C
Anton Dreher invented this beer around 1841, established breweries around Austro-Hungarian Empire
Danube water, whatever that profile is
Another brewer named Schmidt used well water
Negra Modelo, Noche Buena, generally in the Vienna style
WW1 wiped out several of the Dreher, Schmidt breweries, employees were drafted into the war
Still been brewing ever since
Pre-prohibition amber lager in the US was Vienna lager

Very interesting and detailed presentation
There is a more complex relationship between Brix and specific gravity than I had thought – roughly SG = 4X Brix, but even at 10 Brix that relationship is 15% off the real measurement
Plato is the 4X relationship to specific gravity
