Beer Style & Sensory Experience for Next Month: Hop Tea Tasting
We’re looking into building out some hop “tea” ideas for sensory experience. The idea would be to boil hops in a light solution of water and DME to create a ‘wort’ that could be added to a base beer (e.g. Coors light, etc) to allow the club to experience what different single hops bring to a beer, and even perhaps do some blending. We’ll probably need some volunteers but this shouldn’t be more than 1-2 hours of total work.
May beer of the month is: Maibock!
